Hello
can I use a heng long ver 7 smoke unit on the TCB.  The wiki says to plug the heater into the smoker port and the fan into the Aux port of the TCB. The hl smoker is 6 volts so the AUX port is ok at 5 volts however the SMOKER port is battery at 7.4 volts. Can I use two 3amp diode is series to drop the volts from the SMOKER port down to 6.2 volts (close enough) or do I need to connect an adjustable voltage regulator to get 6 volts.

Hi Tom, the ability to set the endpoints is there so you can make sure the servo does not try to move beyond its physical limits, which might damage the servo or the recoil/elevation mechanism. So yes, I would think it's important to adjust the endpoints to your particular setup.

Do you think it's important to set end points on recoil or elevation servo?
They should be factory set to move 50% in each direction or is that not always the case?

Seems new taigens have a servo recoil, and I think traditional motor elevation? I assume the TCB will work/connect without much trouble?


 Though I will see how it works when it arrives, may just replace with metal, servo/recoil unit I used before.

Going to convert stock Taigen Leopard to TCB. Curious if anything different to look for or attend to? Turret is pretty low wondering if servo recoil unit will fit ..if not will keep stock unit. Already have sound set ready for tbs mini.

Figured since kickback setting was already there. But true.. a heavy tank wouldn't roll or kick noticeably.
