Nothing has been written here for many days ...
Is there no longer a TCB user?

Hi Jürgen! I hope you are doing well in Germany.

Well anyway I am still here lurking. Maybe the board has become so perfect there can be no more questions? ;) No, I don't think that's it.  ;D

But since no one can buy one for many years, and it is very difficult to build (maybe impossible now with the chip situation) I am not surprised it is quiet here.

God Day to you Luke,
i am fine and the Life in germany goes expensive...

Yes, your´e right, the chip shortage and high prices reduce the number of users.
Every open panzer board that is offered somewhere is always sold very quickly - but that doesn't mean there are more of them.
It is all very well documented, but there are no new boards to buy...

Hi Jürgen. You may be interested to know that your home country is now selling the TCB, it was even manufactured in Bavaria. It is being sold by Torro.

Here is the product page for anyone looking to buy: Open Panzer TCB at torro-shop.de

Hello Luke,
I am still using TCB....
Mostly homemade ones for space reasons.
However, in tanks with enough space I use Beier SFR-1-D.

The board from Torro is expensive - really expensive => 169,-€ this is three times the price of HobbyKing
The scope of delivery only includes a usb cable.....no other cables!

Yes, but just think, you also get three ferrite cores!  ;)

What do I need ferrite cores for?
I've never needed them together with a TCB...

You don't need them, and I can't help but find their inclusion humorous. But that is one of the consequences of production and certification in the EU.

 Hello

you are right. europe and especially germany for new eletronics is a "hard pavement". you can't imagine what you have to manage to get a license for selling and also for the usage. there can happen so many things and it's necessary to exclude all this "possibilities".
means for your usage you do not need them but if anything happens, for example the pacemaker from your neighbour explode because you are driving with your tank with an OTB inside through your garden ;-)
-> Bundesnetzagentur  8)

best regards
