The cheapest sound is for OPEN PANZER
« on: November 06, 2022, 02:34:05 AM »
Hello) Everyone! This is my first time on the forum, Thanks for such a project, everything is just gorgeous) I want to repeat - my hyun long. Please tell me how to connect the DFPlayer mini MP3 (which is now sold in China) to the OPENPANZER board (Arduino Mega 2560 or, if possible, Arduino nano, but it seems to me that there are not enough pins for nano).
PS What Mplayer Mini MP3 gives out is enough for me!

I want to implement sounds like in this project specified in this link - I need a DFPlayer connection diagram to an open tank board on an Arduino 2560 mega specified by the link:  http://rctank.club/showthread.php?1460-%CF%EB%E0%F2%E0-%F3%EF%F0%E0%E2%EB%E5%ED%E8%FF-%ED%E0-Arduino/page2
On the first page there is a mention that this is a fee: The source code of the sketch can be viewed here: https://github.com/OpenPanzerProject/TCB

P.S. Sorry for my Russian!  Russian translator accidentally translated into Russian, I stayed with one Russian forum to understand what was written, I translated and then not much was not clear from Portuguese..translates into English is not clear.

Hi Phantom, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately the MP3 player you describe is not compatible with the Open Panzer TCB.

The guys on the Russian forum built their own control board which uses that MP3 player. Their project is not the same as the Open Panzer project, and their code is not the same as ours. In other words, if you want to use that MP3 player you will have to use the Russian control board, and will need to contact them about it.

The only sound cards that are compatible with the TCB are the Benedini (Mini and Micro), the Taigen sound cards, and the Open Panzer Sound Card.
