Hi Luke, Thx for getting back so quickly... In a nut shell i am trying to mix tank steering with turret movement to replicate a turret lock style feature, i have seen the marvelous systems others have made but thats too complicated for my little brain, so i was wondering if i could mix steering to turret movement so as the tank turned say left the turret turned proportionally right and vica verca the Tx can mix Aileron and Rudder as these are the channels i am using and the dual rate switch on the Tx will turn this on and off when set up, so i can go back to individual movement when turret lock is not needed, or is this a step too far. Regards. Sub.

Hi, A question for the Master Luke.. Whilst upgrading my Challenger 2 to Open Panzer i have utilised just about all the functions available plus some with some lateral thinking and a bit of my own humble electronic bodgery, however i want to try something else that i have not seen documented any where ( could be i just cannot find it ) Anyway here goes..... I have the ability to set up mixed channels on my Tx that i can activate via a dual rate switch when i want them and then go back to normal mode... now the big question, would the TCB understand what was going on and mix them on the tank OR would it just confuse the heck out of it OR cause damage ? I think i am up to about 15 functions at press so any info would be great. Regards Sub.

Hi Luke. I changed the pins around to the LEDS and added the stop commands and everything now works correctly. Thank you for your patience and support. Sub.

Hi Luke. I think you may have found the issue, i was using 2 pins but it was neg and pos of the 3 pins and leaving the signal free.
I will try again using the neg and signal as positive and leaving the middle pin free.
I was wondering about a stop command after initiating the turn command.
I will try it again tomorrow, hopefully we have found the error.
Thx once again. Sub.

Hi Luke. I did everything like you described, which is what i had inputed previusly into the TCB and all i get is a constantly lit LED no settings appear to change it. I connected to snoop and ran through the left and right throttle turns and the snoop read out stated left and right ports A and B were blinking......but the single LED i had fitted was constant ?. I was using a high bright led with a resistor in line so then tried a low power led with no resistor and the same result a constant lit LED.. I am now baffled. Heres a pic of my snoop screen showing the read out.

Hi Luke. Many, many thx for getting back to me so quickly, your continued support IS greatly appreciated. I have managed to achieve what i needed to do thx to your excellent advice, i was using a Spektrum radio and some of the adjustment ranges are not visible on the computer screen unless you go into the sub menues and i found that a Sub Trim had been altered giving the servo more throw one way than the other plus the servo movement was only small and i think it was as you mentioned , anyway all is well.
If i may beg your indulgence further, i am sure i have read somewhere that you can use the 2 IO ports A and B to illuminated small LEDS on blink mode for left and right turn indicators when triggered by the tank steering, i have tried some settings but only have the LEDS constantly illuminated when the TCB is powered up, do you happen to know the trigger / function settings that i need to input to achieve this, or am i " away with the fairy's on this idea "
Kind regards Sub.

Hi folks. Just tried to adjust the end points on the gun elevation and went through the dip switch 3 and 4 to on held the input button for 2 secs and off went the servo to one end point, all ok, then moved it to where i wanted it all ok then moved over to alter the other end point the servo moved to this end point BUT i could not adjust it like the first end point it just would not move, any one had this before ? Or am i missing some thing ?. I came back out after pressing the input button again and still had full pan effect on the servo...weird.. Regards Sub.

Hi Luke. Thx for getting back to me so quickly... All sorted now thx, I just didn't read the Wiki long enough to find it in functions Doh .. i am using a Taigen sound card, so have used ports 6 and 7 as pass throughs and 8 for the Taigen card, i now have 2 extra channels, i was so impressed previously with the TCB but this just keeps on giving those that didn't try one seriously missed out in my opinion and now its compatable with the Taigen cards ( with a slight wiring mod) its unbeatable. Thx once again and for your continued support of the product. Sub.

Hi Luke, I wonder if you could assist me please, I am currently building a model that requires a door to be opened on the turret of the model and was wondering if this could be achieved via the TCB and assigning a function to Open then Close it via a small servo.. I cannot use a by pass from the receiver I am using as it is an SBUS receiver ie only one set of plugs for all the channels. cheers sub.

Hi Luke. I downloaded the TEST version and you were correct still cannot log in without going through snoop first, but I still can do that each time so will have to just keep doing it that way, at least I can now log in whenever I want which is a massive improvement than before. Thx Sub.

Hi Luke. Thanks for taking the time to make the test version for me to try. I am a great fan of the Open Panzer TCB and if my efforts have helped you or any one else with a similar issue then its my pleasure, the TCB has opened up so much for me in tanking, and the scale driving characteristics and functionality are excellent. I will download the test version as soon as i get the chance and will try it and report back. Thx. Sub.
