Open Panzer Help / Benedini TBS Mini
« on: March 20, 2017, 09:42:51 PM »
I believe the Benedini update should be ready soon and most likely will happen before the release date of the TCB correct?

Open Panzer Help / PPM cable for Spektrum receiver question
« on: March 12, 2017, 05:43:43 PM »
At first I am going to use my Spektrum Dxi6 there is a little port for a PPM mini 3 pin connector
with Red/Black/Grey wires as shown in the jpg...In looking at the pins on the TCB is this correct?
(It looks like the + - are different than the pins on the TBC= signal positive negative)
Unless the inverted non inverted address this? In my orange receiver there is a little port
on the side but the mini cable is the same as shown. Thanks.

Open Panzer Help / Sounds
« on: March 07, 2017, 01:11:20 PM »
Perhaps this is a bit premature but the idea of a sound library is a good one that was put out there.
I am a bit unsure though how to download anything right now or perhaps it is not set up yet to do that.
Either way at some point I have some great engine sounds- singular tracks or as TBS files and
others such as breaking, transmission engage, squeak/clack over engine sounds etc.
I would love to share as all this has been done for the excellent sound reproduction of
the Benedini and can now be used with the TCB!

Open Panzer Help / Track squeak idea?
« on: February 27, 2017, 09:10:59 AM »
Just a thought on the track squeaks as I did this with TBS/BARC and it sounds great
but have to manually trigger it on/off and that isn't ideal. What it is is a long
loop of squeaking track movement that is played over the engine/moving sound.
(I also tried it as a dynamic fade in/dynamic loop/dyn loop fade out which was an
attempt to get it to not trigger as you pointed out the instant the tank started moving.)

If the minimum repeat was set able to be set to zeros perhaps then this could also
be an easy option to play a longer loop over the movement sound?

Open Panzer Help / TBS/BARC crossover
« on: February 24, 2017, 08:08:28 PM »
I have been going through the sound section and a tad unsure trying to compare what I am currently
doing with the TCB set up.

I am familiar with the TBS/BARC set up and essentially want to see if I can still do all of what
I am currently doing. I hope this will all makes sense but as you are familiar with the BARC
and perhaps it is a simple as a "yes" :)

The BARC has Position 1 on right stick up/ throttle.
The left stick has similar positions as you have on the TCB

At the moment I have the engine start which is R stick pos. 1 flip up doing a cold crank
which turns the system on but no engine start up (allowing smoker to warm up)

Cannon has to be position 4

MG has to be position 5

Turret has to be 6

Elevation has to be 7

I activate the engine start up/shut down with the left stick user definable position 8

The other user definable positions of 10 and 9 I am using as track noise or cold start or some other sound such as a
rev or slow drop in idle (or music etc) I can change it around in the parameter section as all the sounds are saved in the sound file.

Some of these sounds like turret are set to "dynamic in  dynamic loop dynamic out" Cannon" normal" or "mute" for an engine rev or music sound.

My question is essentially would all of this remain the same if I wanted to keep it all
on the two sticks at first and eventually moving some of these sounds or sound/functions
to switches or add additional sounds to switches?

Sorry for the long question but perhaps it will also help answer this question or something similar somebody else may have.

Open Panzer Help / MAC Platform possiblity
« on: February 23, 2017, 08:35:27 AM »
I love my Mac for all of my artistic tasks and wonder if this may ever be a platform for TCB?
No idea of the possible enormity of doing this but just thought I would ask :)

Open Panzer Help / Gear change effect
« on: February 22, 2017, 11:03:52 AM »
This was posted about some of the features that Elmod has..I have read though the wiki and curious if this type of effect of gear change effect also possible? (Unless I missed it and it is incorporated in the momentum/nudge effect or adjustments)

"You don't push the stick forward and the tank takes off, you push the stick forward and the driver blips the throttle, puts it into gear, and then its slowly starts moving, and without the user doing anything it changes gear, jolts, and carries on accelerating."

Open Panzer Help / Sabertooth driver 12 Ampx2
« on: February 20, 2017, 07:57:32 AM »
I am currently using the Sabertooth 12 x2 and have the S1 and S2 cables plugged directly into the Elev/Ail on the
receiver. With this particular model would Sig 1 (Forward/backward) cable only plug directly into the TCB or is there
a combination that needs to be spliced in? Thanks :)

Open Panzer Help / On / off switch
« on: February 19, 2017, 07:56:40 PM »
Right now I have a on/off switch for my smoke unit plugged into the aux channel on my Dxi and assigned to the gear toggle.. with the TCB could I just keep that servo cable plugged in the receiver or could I plug it into the TCB and assign that function? Thanks :)

Open Panzer Help / Radio
« on: February 18, 2017, 09:06:58 PM »
I really like some of the 16 channel radios and may get one. Other than limited channels  as far as I can see the DXi 6 will work fine with the proper receiver with no changes to it (Dxi)

Open Panzer Help / Led Flash TCB and TBS
« on: February 07, 2017, 12:10:01 PM »
I currently have my Taigen recoil running off of the TBS and the barrel flash (which is a simple LED with two leads) plugged into the BARC.
To run the LED into the TCB would the LED light connect to the Flash port or another connector?
