I have a TARR smoke unit and use the smoke output on the TCB to control the fan and have a separate input from the battery to a voltage regulator to the heating element. This way I can dial up the voltage on the smoker. About 9 volts seems about right. The switch is the one Luke suggested that can be used as on/off via the radio. So if I want to use smoke unit..just flip two switches on the radio to activate fan and current to smoker.

Hey Luke,
Thanks for the firmware update! It seems sporadic in terms of squeaks going off?
Lowered engine parameter volume so I can make sure..and sometimes it triggers
but not others. Tried shutting engine on and off..turning everything on then off
and again sometimes it works and other times no squeaks:) ?
Tried both TCB boards and doing it on both so it is interesting.
I attached the settings to see if anything stands out to you.

Thanks Luke! That would be awesome. When they activate it is a great effect. Tricky to get the right sounds but that is part of the fun and can be experimented with. Activating a repeat sound layered over the engine is good too but the loop needs to be longer to sound right so the problem is when the tank stops, those sounds keep going on. So the random squeaks are great idea

I'll test again tomorrow but it does seem even when driving steady for more than 3 seconds and min speed set low 3% sometimes the squeaks don't happen? I tried setting the min max to the lowest settings too but that didn't effect it. Usually the TCB works fine and it is something else! But right now it seems the squeaks are not being activated.

Hi Luke, thanks all makes sense. One thing though, could you reduce the 3 second minimum to 0 - 1 second?
As the setting minimum % speed before squeaking could adjust that better..as in 3 seconds it would be possible
to get a pretty high speed but if left at zero time, this then could allow the squeaks to start at 5 % 10% etc.

First off I love the function of the 3 slots for random track squeaks and how adjustable it is! Great idea. My only issue is
it seems to work at times but not others? When it does it sounds great but other times, just won't kick in..curious if this is a common issue. Or if any way to get it to be more consistent? Interval setting is set at 1000/2000 2000/5000 3000/8000 mS

I uninstalled then reinstalled but same thing. When it connects I can ignore update pop up sometimes and download new functions but it says of 330 one was not installed. (paraphrase) Maybe I can try all of this on a friends computer and see if I can flash latest update from there. Using 3 TCB's.. one opens with port 4/ one with 5 /and one with port 6. But cannot flash .93.73 on any of them. Though
it is odd that it seems I did do flash updates prior because function list says high and low on External outputs A/B?

A few more notes: When I hit "Get latest release" green bar at bottom says " Release 0.93.73 downloaded"
When I hit flash tab.. pop up reads "File does not exist! Please re-check."

Hey Luke,
Trying to change some functions and a pop up window shows latest version
needed. I believe I did update it to .93.73 as functions show high and low not a and b
on external outputs a/b. It says latest release when I hit "Get Latest Release" tab.
When I try to flash it (just to try) it says no file found. But the issue is I cannot connect
as pop up window shows device needs update? Also if I hit a question mark on a tab like
sound for let's say mechanical barrel..pop up reads " The collection file 'C:/Program Files etc. do not exist?
