Title: Voltage of prop1-3 output for soundcards
Post by: larryzhou on February 04, 2019, 07:24:10 PM
Hi, guys,

After radio’s set, now move to next stage.
I learnt from WIKI the TCB best working voltage is from 7-15V, which voltage is also shared by some TCB ‘s output ports.

The question is what’s the voltage of prop1-3, and radio. Are they constant independent 5v, like most BECs? Or do they also share the same input voltage like other ports?because the Benedini’s working voltage is around 7v.

I could try but I don’t want to risk burning the boards, as it too long for them to arrive.

Thanks in advance

Larry

This information is in the Wiki (http://openpanzer.org/wiki/doku.php?id=wiki:tcb:tcbinstall:power), but the answer is, Prop1-3 (and actually all 8 RC outputs), as well as the two RADIO connections, provide regulated 5 volts. The TCB can source up to 3 amps for all 5 volt outputs combined.
