Open Panzer Help / Benedini TBS Mini

I believe the Benedini update should be ready soon and most likely will happen before the release date of the TCB correct?

Open Panzer Help / PPM cable for Spektrum receiver question
« on: March 12, 2017, 05:43:43 PM »
At first I am going to use my Spektrum Dxi6 there is a little port for a PPM mini 3 pin connector
with Red/Black/Grey wires as shown in the jpg...In looking at the pins on the TCB is this correct?
(It looks like the + - are different than the pins on the TBC= signal positive negative)
Unless the inverted non inverted address this? In my orange receiver there is a little port
on the side but the mini cable is the same as shown. Thanks.

Excellent on the open use of Squeak 3 and the firmware upgrade on the Benedini too!

Will do "TBS mini" to help keep everything clear going forward.

Luke good point..I will take more care with these names as yes all of it is confusing potentially without  my adding to it. But yes will report back as soon as it is connected and running.

Ordered the  Saber 5 x 12 and looking forward to hooking it up to the TCB! May try the RC verison on the next tank with a TCB but for now trying to make it all a smooth as possible. Plus as you the stated it (5x2) is quite a bit -smaller which will be necessary in small tanks.

Regarding the topic of sounds would it be possible to eventually add a volume adjustment on the TCB? As discussed to change
a  single volume setting on the TBS the whole sound file has to be re-loaded. So for 5 volume tweaks on one sound it takes
close to 30 min. Where on the TBS this could be done it seems in few minutes or less. So one could set the TBS at more of the max top
level and the TBC could then be used to adjust down from 100%.

Perhaps this is a bit premature but the idea of a sound library is a good one that was put out there.
I am a bit unsure though how to download anything right now or perhaps it is not set up yet to do that.
Either way at some point I have some great engine sounds- singular tracks or as TBS files and
others such as breaking, transmission engage, squeak/clack over engine sounds etc.
I would love to share as all this has been done for the excellent sound reproduction of
the Benedini and can now be used with the TCB!

Based on what you said the 2x5 appears to be my best choice...thanks.

Actually the size of the 2x5 Saber is nice so if you guys have been testing it with 20 tanks doing neutral turns fine with it..it seems to be the best option!
Really looking forward to the TCB release and with the TBS upgrade to open up a few more sound options it will be awesome.

No downside to the 12 x2? (non RC version) Figure with a few tanks with 480 motors and 20 lbs. may not be a bad idea or do you think it is overkill?

Made another sound with a bit more to it so it will be heard over the idle maybe better. Just another option if needed
as you guys test :)
