Your Challenger looks great, I'm assuming you painted/detailed it? If not then Heng Long has definitely improved in the finishing department!

You can't directly upload a video to the forum but if you have a video on YouTube you can embed it in a post.

There is a deadband setting in OP Config for each of the 4 primary channels, the default value is 15 (which is only 1.5%). So you can double-check that, and you might also want to run through Radio Setup again just to make sure your end-points and such have been correctly saved.

What is more likely the cause is that the turret motor has enough internal resistance that it doesn't start moving until you apply about 1/3 power, meaning there is nothing wrong with your radio or deadband on the TCB. You could improve this by programming some reverse expo on that channel in your radio (exponential is typically used to make stick movements less sensitive around center but you will want to do the opposite).

Thanks for your quick reply Luke, will check that on radio itself. Yes  challenger has lots of scratch built extras, armour etc, but iz basically all heng Long, its not bad for $180 aus a few years back. I do love these things as you can add to them for next to nothing!! Compared to my 1986vintage King tiger ,that at the time had no spares or options for big dollars! Thanks again regards, brian
