Hi, Jhamm

thanks for the correction.  Now I know the proper English translation for it.

By the way,   is there a setting in the TCB?  The ESC I'd like to place should be a Sabertooth.

thanks

Larry

Hi Larry, if you can provide more information about your gearboxes I may be able to tell you if they will work. The gearbox that Code501 used is the DKLM RC PDSGB which is compatible, but it sounds like you might have something different.

Hi, Lukez

I think they are the same, just like the one in Tamiya's 1/16 M1a2, Type10. One motor for forward/reverse, one for direction.

cheers

Larry

hi, how it goes?

I am building a 1/16 full metal Panther F, with dual clutches gearbox.  I haven't read anything regarding the support for such type of gearbox in the Wiki section.

please let us know.

thanks

hopefully, I can save some extra for trading in my t10J for a T16sg, then I shall have enough channels for all functions. 1/6 scale is so sweet, I don't even want to touch 1/16 anymore.........

Yeah!!! I will travel all the way to Overloon from Shanghai. It was such a pity I missed last year's, as the King Tiger showed up.
I will post some pics on rcuniverse later on.

Very nice! You did an excellent job on the paint. Obviously everyone here or at RCUniverse wants to see a video sometime!

I am curious if you are using any driving adjustments (momentum/inertia/nudge/turning modes) and if so what you think of them at this scale.

haha, Lukez

honestly, I find it is a pain in the ass to adjust the settings after I have put the TCB inside it. you know what I mean ^_^

now, all I want to do is to enjoy its running. TCB is second to none, without it, I wouldn't be able to do it.

I am planning a second running , this weekend.   I will shoot more footages and put them into a short film. I also bought many 1/6 figures.

Will you go to Militrack 2019?

sabertooth tested & fitted to the chassis. Also, the ground terminal is screwed. next is the power distribution fuse box, and other wiring.

Hi Larry.

Does it work now?

Ulrich

Ha,

no, not yet. assemble the wiring, etc, at the moment.

Do your MOSFETs also say 23EG? It would seem that HK dug up some old stock boards from 2017 that did not have the correct parts, and have been selling those at the very end. Guess they couldn't say goodbye without a parting gift.

bingo, 23eg!

well, we should think the bright side, that, at least, I have 2 openpanzer boards, and driving ,turret, sound functions are normal.

^_^

You definitely want the TCB to do the mixing, set the Sabertooth to independent. TCB needs to control all that in order for turn modes, momentum/inertia and other effects to work properly.

yes, sir. crystal clear.

I found some APO speed controllers on AliExpress. It appears their main advantage over other options is their ability to handle moderate currents at high voltages. If someone was not running a 24 volt system, there probably would be more cost-effective solutions.

The Sabertooth 2x32 is a special case amongst the Sabertooth line, it uses a software provided by Dimension Engineering called DEScribe to alter settings. Let us know how it works for you.

Hi Lukez

if you are building it, will you set Sabertooth 2*32 to independent mode, which leaves both motor's mixing to TCB?   or leave the mixing to Sabertooth?

Hi Larry.

sorry for the late feedback.
1. no -  but you have two connectors for SBUS. normal SBUS and SBUS2. which one have you used?
(at the moment i am using the cooltech rec and this one uses "only" S-FHSS - the Futaba 3008 T-FHSS. it is too expensive for a tank and i need it for copters and plains ;-))
2. yes it is an orignal Mode 2
3. no, it is older. it is from early 2018 (got 2 more - ordered in Nov and Dec '18 but not tested at all)

Hi, Ulrich

I connected it to the 8/Sbus port on the r3008sb. I got out another 3008 inside my Tamiya Sherman. I will try again.
