Open Panzer Help / My tank lost some functions« on: May 06, 2022, 03:00:27 PM »
Hi.
I have problem with my OP tcb in my Maus. It drives only backwards and neutral turn is possible only in left direction. If I want to go forward there is no acceleration sound. Moving backwards and neutral left turn arent proportional. Always full throttle. Position of stick doesnt matter. When I plug tcb to pc I can see all stick movements in radio tab. When snooping, tcb doesnt see driving forward. Im trying to reflash - still problem. So I took second op tcb, flashed from same config file and? Same problem! So it isnt hardware problem? 3
Open Panzer Help / Re: IR Receiver doesnt work« on: February 13, 2022, 01:57:50 PM »
Hi LukeZ. Thx for quick reply.
I set both to Tamiya protocol. Im using TSOP4838 IR receivers - they work very good with clark board. With OP not :/ Can You recommend IR receiver model which works with OP? Maybe I brake down Taigen apple when it wont work and then I plugged it in other way. But my DIY receiver was plugged correctly I know. 4
Open Panzer Help / IR Receiver doesnt work« on: February 13, 2022, 06:47:04 AM »
Hi.
I want to do some IR battling with my 8yr son. I have two tanks with Clark TK60 boards (one with Taigen Apple, second with hidden DIY system). I want IR system also in my Maus with OP TCB. So I made receiver like I did for Clark board. And it doesnt work OP can send IR signal, LED shows cannon reloaded. But it doesnt receive any signal from other tanks or Clarks TV remote arghhhh. Im very disappointed. Has anyone isssue like me? Edit: taigen apple dead after plugging to OP :/ 5

I have similar design of gearboxes But I see first time those from RCU.
My bevel gears are made from steel, not brass. I also added bearing on 6mm shaft on gear reductor for better stiffness. I love brushless motors - so small and so much torque. I also bought mine plow from DKLMRC. It will be motorized. I will connect motors to internal ESC 8

Hi!
Finally Abrams is alive. Sound is configured. Here is test video with 2s LiPo: I printed gearboxes. Motors are 900kv with 1:30 reduction. I tested also with 3s LiPo and it has better speed. Next stage will be brushless stabilization with Storm32 controller. 9
Open Panzer Help / Re: Big problem with TBS Mini« on: April 22, 2018, 10:02:17 AM »
Finally it works. I reflashed TBS firmware. But I must using only sounds from Tomas.
Its no problem - in his TBS file there is cannon sound and crew sounds - thats all I want with engine sound. I will post vid how it works. Thx Luke for support. 10

Low voltage cutoff disabled. Now Snooping works fine. It shows User sounds. So probably I must focus on TBS Mini.
I thought, voltage cutoff doesnt work when I program OP board. Will send OPZ tomorrow if still needed 11

Update:
I flashed all files as .wave from hard disk. In MISC tab I can execute Engine start. When I execute Cannon Fire, I hear "click" sound. 3 user sounds dont work - I dont hear anything. 13

I think Snoop doesnt work.. Look at image attached. In Snoop mode I move sticks and nothing happen..
In the TBS Flash there is also problem. In MISC tab, executing sounds doesnt work too. Program doesnt respond. I must have both TBS soundfile from Thomas and wave files for additional sounds. It will be easier to put all wav files from hard disk. But I dont have sounds for Abrams. 14

Yes. Wave 8bit 22050Hz.
But engine sounds are from TBS file from Thomas. Additional sounds made by me and I put .wav files 15

THX for reply Luke.
Of course I have newest TBS Flash and Mini firmware. When I click SNOOP, I see all settings in one window. Moving sticks or toggling switches do nothing. But in RADIO section, when I click READ RADIO sticks/switches seem to work fine. Im using Turnigy 9x transmitter with standard Flysky module. Im connecting SBUS-PPM-PWM converter to receiver. I tested tank movement with brushless motors and it was great! Servos also work good. Only one problem I have - sounds. If I dont find solution, I must use only engine sounds and changing volume function. Or waiting for mass produced OP Sound Card. PS. Next month I will have FlySky Taranis Radio with SBUS receiver - will see with this.
